CONVOY OF HOPE HOSTS
COMMUNITY EVENT IN WASHINGTON D.C.

Celebration includes Groceries and Services
WASHINGTON D.C. – August
12, 2015 – Convoy of
Hope will partner with local business, churches, government agencies and
nonprofits during a community celebration in Washington D.C., on Saturday,
September 12, at Evangel Assembly.
During
the celebration, Convoy of Hope and the Washington D.C. Metropolitan community
will provide more than $1 million worth of goods and services including free:
food, health services, haircut, family portraits, a carnival and more.
Identification is not required to attend and participate in the event.
In
2014, more than 400 cities were served by Convoy of Hope events around the
country.

Convoy
of Host partners National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and Plum Organics
will also be at the event. The NBCF provides education, support and early
detection services to underserved women in the community. Plum Organics will distribute organic food
specifically created for babies, toddlers and school-aged children.
